I can honestly tell you that my guts are exploding within me over this horrible attack on mankind.

The media along with others are working with the forces behind all this hateful violence.

We must be strong by allowing God’s grace to fill us with faith during our weaknesses.

We cannot allow the fear tactics of the enemy to invade our minds and hearts and rob our faith.

We who are called by His name must pray to learn how to love our enemies the way our Lord has instructed us to do.

This is not an easy task when each of us are tied to an old man dead body of sin and hate.

We must gird up the loins of our minds with the Good News knowing that matter what we have a lively hope that God’s kingdom will prevail.

The scriptures do teach us that evil and hate always self-destruct.

Praying for our enemies to somehow be saved and praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world is vital.

Let us encourage one another to set our affections on things which are above where Christ sits at the right hand of the Father.

The focus of our attention must not be on the things of this world but on the things of the kingdom of God.

It is vital to keep a heavenly perspective and not accept the lies promulgated by this world as truth.

Our enemy is a deceiver and a thief and a master
illusionist.

Let us not walk by sight but by faith and see life through the eyes of God where all things are possible.

Let us put on the whole Armor of God and having done all let us Stand in Christ’s Victory.

We have eternal life.

We have Christ in us
the hope of glory!

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but if power, love and a sound mind.

We must look to our Lord to rescue us from this evil attack on humanity.

How many of have wished to be alive when the Lord returns?

I am one of those who wished this but
I never took to heart what may be happening when this glorious moment occurs.

“When one really discovers Jesus and his vision of life everything else becomes secondary.”

The following was written by a Christian Brother Simon Kurshid who is a Roman Catholic Priest in Toba Tek Singh Pakistan:

Dear Frank

“When one really discovers Jesus and his vision of life everything else becomes secondary.

In the service of the Kingdom there are no half measures and in that service there is a special kind of liberating joy.”

I would like to share my thoughts about today’s readings.

First reading 1 Kings 3:5.7-12

Second reading

Romans 8:28-30

Third reading

Gospel Matthew 13:44-52

In the First Reading from the First Book of Kings, we heard how the Lord God rewarded Solomon for his unselfish desire to be righteous before the people as their King.

King Solomon, when given the opportunity to ask for what he wishes, prays for practical wisdom and prudence to discern for his people right from wrong. Kingship in Israel was established by God to serve the people. Since God was the true king of Israel, David and his successors were to use their position to steer the people on right path of faith. David was partially successful in this role and his successors were not. His son Solomon had made alliance with Egypt had built his palace before he sought to build a Temple for God and the sacrifices were offered in high places. The Jewish traditions credited Solomon with wisdom which surpassed any other king of Israel and it is credited to the humility he exhibited before God. When God comes to him in a dream, offering to grant him any request, Solomon displays extraordinary wisdom. He identifies himself as God’s servant ruling over God’s people and he asks for an understanding of heart to govern the people justly. He did not ask just to have things, or to have obstacles in his life removed. He asked to be able to see. In other words, he asked for wisdom and discernment. God is pleased that Solomon ranked service to God over the standard interests of Monarchy: long life, wealth and power together with control over enemies. Solomon’s request was granted. God further declares that Solomon will be unique among all the kings of the earth. God says: “I give you a heart wise as none before you have had and none will have after you.”

In the Second Reading from the Letter to the Romans Paul says that all things work for good for those who love God.

God’s plan is that we be conformed to the image of his son Jesus and that Christians reproduce in themselves an image of his Son by progressively sharing more and more in the risen life of Christ.

Paul here wants Christians to realize that they have been destined from all eternity to be confirmed to the image of his son.

Further he says that God knew before creation which one among us would respond to His grace through our own free will.

In deciding to create the universe, we know that God arranged everything out of love. He knew beforehand about those who would live our Christian faith in accordance with the teachings of Jesus, shining in Divine love so we may inherit the Kingdom of God.

God is active in all events of their lives. We are in God’s mind from the beginning and God will complete his plan when we are glorified.

If we are among the humble and obedient servants of God, those that He foreknew, then we are among those who have been called to be justified. We are among those who will be glorified in Jesus Christ.

In speaking of the final destiny of glory for all those who place their faith in Jesus Paul says that we are predestined to be saved in him who has lovingly called us to be his own sons and daughters. Paul declares that, for the person who loves God, everything can be turned to good.

In the Gospel of today we are presented with three parables, two of which are closely linked in meaning but with slight difference.

The first two parables using the images of hidden treasure and a pearl of great price are addressed to individuals who with joy and assurance sell everything else to possess something precious.

The third parable speaks of the realistic situation, similar to one about the wheat and the darnel, about the Christian sense of time and the separation process at the end of time. Here perhaps the church quietly explains the existence of people both good and bad.

The first and second parables are in effect saying that to know God and to live according to the Gospel are the most precious things in life.

Through Jesus and the Gospel we come to know and understand what the real meaning of life is and what the most important things in life are.

The comparison here is based on obtaining something of extremely high value. The dynamic described is that nothing will get in the way of obtaining an object of extremely high value if one desiring it feels it must be acquired at any cost.

Both the parables demand renunciation, risk and commitment. The emphasis is not so much on the pain of renunciation as on the supreme value of the reward they will obtain.

Jesus advocates the total reversal of the past in order to gain a wonderful future.

What many do not realize is that the treasure buried in the field legally belongs to the owner of the field and therefore the person who finds it sells everything and purchases the land in order to become its owner.

In this parable the finder does not tell the owner of his discovery but purchases the land to make it legal.

Jesus does not pass judgment on his ethics but stresses on his life time discovery of the reign of God.

We must remember that in early days the ordinary persons could not avail the facilities of Banks and burying the valuable things in the ground was a possible alternative. There was the danger of foreign invasion or brigandage that made rich people or royal households to bury their gold or precious treasures in the ground. Of course, because of war or some other unforeseen calamity, they might have to leave the place suddenly and not be able to take their belongings with them.

They might not be able to return or they might die before they could do so. Someone else, then, might stumble on their treasure and find ways and means to take possession of it.

In this parable, the man comes across the treasure and is aware that it does not belong to him. He sells everything he has in order to get ownership of the field and hence of the buried treasure.

Thus the parable tells us of a person who actually goes beyond all ordinary possibilities to obtain an object of great value. This shows how valuable and precious the kingdom of heaven is. The idea obviously is that when one really discovers Jesus and his vision of life everything else becomes secondary. In the service of the Kingdom there are no half measures and in that service there is a special kind of liberating joy.

The second parable is similar. A businessman looks for fine pearls. When he finds the one he wants, he sells everything else he has in order to acquire this precious pearl. A slight, if significant, difference has been pointed out between the two stories. For, in the first, the man was not actually looking for the treasure. Perhaps he found it while digging the ground or ploughing the field, that is, in the course of his ordinary working day.

Whereas the treasure was found accidentally, the pearl in the second parable was found after a diligent search. The man was on the lookout for the “pearl of great price”. He knows it must exist somewhere and he uses all his energies to find it.

In the ancient world pearls were special not only for their intrinsic value but also for their beauty.

Once he discovers this pearl, he does not hesitate to use the necessary means to acquire it.

This was Paul’s experience as he tells the Philippian community: “I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ” and again “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain”.

This brings us to the third parable today of the net thrown into the sea and this story focuses on the ultimate judgment.

To understand the church better and the way it exists, Jesus gives us the parable of the net. Here Jesus compares the church to a fishing net which when thrown into the lake collect all sorts of fish. The net could not and does not discriminate. It was left to the fishermen to do the dividing and the separating process.

While the first and second parables speak of the total commitment and dedication which are the ideal of every follower of Christ, this third parable helps to put our two feet firmly back on the ground. It reflects the same emphasis that the interpretation of the parable of the wheat and the weeds made. Again, the good will be separated from the bad and reward and punishment will be administered accordingly.

This time it is the angels who will make the judgment. While the ideals are valid and still beckon us, they must not lead us into any form of elitism.

The point is that in the kingdom of heaven there will be accountability. This parable reminds us that the Church and even the Kingdom in the process of its evolution is full of all kinds of people.

Our Church is a Church of saints and sinners, the good and the bad. Those who have heard the teachings of Jesus and put them into practice will enter the kingdom of heaven and those who do not will be excluded. The judgment is not arbitrary and rests ultimately on the response of the one who has heard the message of Jesus.

The Church too has its role to play namely to accept into its bosom the poor, the crippled, the blind, lame and all those in need and lead them to the treasure and the pearl of great price.

In the meantime, it is for us to learn to be tolerant, compassionate and understanding those who seem to fall far below the requirements of the Gospel and the Kingdom.

The disciples declare that they have understood what Jesus has taught them in and through these parables.

Jesus responds with a saying that describes the calling and task of everyone who desires to be a follower of Jesus in the Kingdom of heaven.

It is a matter of drawing on the rich treasury of the past, but shaping it to apply for guidance into the future. Jesus tells them that they will be like scribes or men of learning who will have ancient and modern teaching with them to give to the hearers.

The past tradition is not to be done away with, but we can never return there to live. The future requires the past for a firm foundation without which it will never be realized. This balancing act is the task of each one of us who have been instructed in the kingdom of heaven. Judgment is for later.

Right now, it is for us to use the time given to us to go in search of the treasure and the pearl of great price, of the gift to be able to identify, with Jesus, the really true, the good and the beautiful, and to help others too in the same search.

Thus when we approach the Eucharistic table and celebrate this sacrificial meal, we express our faith in Jesus who is our pearl of great price. Jesus is worth everything to us and allowing ourselves to be united to him in communion is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.

As we reflect on this word of God, Jesus invites us to build the kingdom by searching relentlessly and seeking his presence.

The reward will be something precious and which cannot be lost at any time. We are called to face obstacles and we are called to be innovative in the ways in which we overcome those challenges.

King Solomon responded to God asking for wisdom and knowledge and he was given the precious reward.

The persons in the parable went in search of the treasure and the pearl and took the risk to obtain it for them.

The parable of the net will tell us of the need for discernment on the kingdom to be good and be able to see the preciousness of our choice.

This gives us the joy of discovering the meaning of life and of finding ourselves involved in the adventure of holiness.

People who risk whole heartedly are ultimately peaceful.

Finally, it is the choice which God has made for us as he has chosen us and formed us in his own image and has planned a plan for us. Let us then respond to the divine call given to us and live this kingdom to the full.

May God bless you all

In communion of prayers

Pray for the Body of Christ

The following verses came to me as I was praying in the spirt for the Body of Christ:

Encouragement during Persecution

2Thessalonians 1:3-12 NLT

3 Dear brothers and sisters,we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

4 We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

5 And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

6 In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

7 And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,

8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus.

9 They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

10 When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.

11 So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

12 Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

They that Gladly Received His Word

They That Gladly Received His Word

Acts 2:32-33 KJV

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

How absolutely amazing is this?

Peter is preaching on the Day of Pentecost where the multitudes of Jews gathered from around the known world to celebrate the feast, heard the Apostles speaking in tongues the words that magnified God.

Peter preached the death, burial and resurrection of the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.

Peter brings the crowd the Good News that Christ was not only raised from the dead but that this Jesus whom you have crucified and slain has ascended into heaven and is now sitting at the right hand of the blessings of the Father.

How absolutely astonished these men must have been to hear Peter a lowly Galilean, boldly and authoritatively proclaiming these words inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Peter went on to preach that this risen, glorified Christ had received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost.

Christ the first resurrected and glorified man was filled to overflowing without measure with the Joy of the Holy Ghost.

Christ the King of God’s Kingdom then sheds forth this which they now see and hear.

Beginning with the first outpouring of Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost it is Jesus Christ who anoints all who come to Him with the gift of holy spirit.

Wow! What a powerful word from heaven Peter preached that day!

Christ the first fruits from among the dead now sits on His throne as King of kings and Lord of lords.

It is still available to be born again or born from above and receiver the gift of holy spirit from Christ.

Confess with your mouth that Jesus the Messiah is your Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Christ from the dead and you shall be saved.

Acts 2:41 KJV

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Amen!

Christ is the focal point of all eternity!

Christ is before all things past, present and future.

Why?

Because the Father God Creator designed His creation with His Son Jesus The Messiah having the preeminence in all things.

Christ not only is first but He also holds all things together.

Yes!

By Christ all things consist and have their being.

Every atom or molecule of Cosmic dust has Christ at its core.

Colossians 1:15-19 KJV

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body, the church:

who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

One Day the World Shall Live as One

One Day the World Shall Live as One

I believe Jesus came to reveal to mankind the availability of living the more than abundant life as citizens of the Kingdom of God.

The blessings of the Kingdom of God are not only available in the future
Age to come but are also available during this Present Evil Age. This why Christ told His disciples to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

This is where will we find the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace and where we all shall be One united with The Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

In the Kingdom of God there will be no male or female.

In the Kingdom of God there will be no distinction of color, sex, religion or politics.

In the Kingdom of God there will be absolutely nothing left of that which divides and separates us from one another.

In God’s Kingdom there will only be a Kingdom People. A Unique Race called from out of every Nation, Tribe and Tongue and they shall not be divided.

Galatians 3:26-29 KJV
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Kingdom people are Abrahams Seed. We are heirs according to the promise.

Acts 2:32-33 KJV

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

All those who have received the Promise of the Holy Ghost, the Seed of Abraham have been translated into the Kingdom His Dear Son.

Colossians 1:9-10,12-13 KJV

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

This is the solid Truth of God’s Promise that somehow according to God’s eternal plan have been translated into His Kingdom.

We are now kingdom citizens!

Philippians 3:20-21 NLT

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

Especially now during this worldwide upheaval there is still time to become a citizen of God’s Kingdom.

Time continues to move on but there is still time to ask Jesus to forgive us from all of our sins.

We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

We were all once children of the rebellion against God. We were all once the children of disobedience without God and without hope.

Every Kingdom Citizen was at one time blinded and walking in darkness. We were all in need of being rescued.

Acts 26:18 KJV
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

None of us have not even come close to living a life that glorifies Christ.

However it is not too late.

Some may ask what may be done to change my destiny?

This is how one may become a Citizen of the Kingdom of God. A New Creation, a New Man that has been translated from the power of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son:

Simply by confessing with our lips that Jesus Christ is our Lord and in our hearts BELIEVE that God has raised Him from the dead.

By doing this simple act we shall be saved into the everlasting Kingdom of God.

Christ is the King of God’s Kingdom and He welcomes all who will come to Him and find rest for their weary souls.

Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Kingdom of God remains open to as many as will call upon the name of the Lord.

Acts 2:32-42 KJV
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The time is now!

It is not too late!

The door to the Kingdom of God is open wide and that door is Jesus Christ.

Kingdom Dynamics the Power to Overcome

The essence of a blessed or happy life is summed up in what is known as the Sermon on the Mount when Jesus Christ taught the Beatitudes.

When applied to everyday living these Beatitudes fully express God’s right way of living.

Jesus the Son of God is the Word become flesh and is the exact imprint of God.

Christ is the divine image of the invisible God made visible to the world.

When man was created he was made in the image of God.

God designed man so that he could be a reflection of the image of the unseen God to this world.

The invisible God is made known through the life example of Jesus of Nazareth.

Christ the only begotten divine Son of God is the Word become flesh.

Christ taught by example that God is Love. Therefore the Creator Loves all of His Creation.

This perfect Love of God is the foundation of a happy life.

As a living expression of the Creators Love the beatitudes are relevant to every generation interested in learning the successful way of living life God’s way.

The gospel of Matthew chapters 5 and 6 contain 27 different life lessons which when applied to the personal and social relationships of life are designed to elevate mankind to the place of excellence in life.

Without God mankind is lost and without hope.

Without God life is a struggle.

Jesus came to into this world to show mankind the only way we may live in prosperity, happiness and peace.

The Creator designed the Universe with the fabric of His Plan of the Ages built into both the Cosmos and into man.

What does this mean?

This is the reason why humanity instinctively yearns for a better way of life.

Everyone born into this world is born with the invisible moral code of the Cosmos written upon their hearts.

Within every man,

Woman and child there is an insatiable hunger rooted in moral instincts of liberty, justice, truth and peace.

From where do these instincts come allowing each individual to instinctively know within them what is moral or immoral?

From where do these instincts come?

Jeremiah 10:23

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Romans 2:14-15 NLT

Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.

These instincts for morality come from the God who is Love.

This Love is not a cheap love but it is a selfless love of giving His Sin to win back those who were kidnapped into rebellion against their heavenly Father.

This rebellion is obviously continuing today. This Rebellion is happening before our very eyes.

The cause of this rebellion is sin and sin is separation from living life God’s Way

This invisible moral code

demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts of men and women. Their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.

Evidence of intrinsic human benevolence is many times apparent during times of natural disasters, a major crisis or egregious injustice when the masses are self-motivated to take it upon themselves to volunteer to unselfishly help one another through the pain.

This unseen universal moral instinct is what drives most of mankind to strive to achieve a happy life. It cause them to desire freedom from bondage, the desire for equal justice.

But not every one desires a happy life. This is true and brings us to the point of identifying two distinct and opposing forces present in the world.

The power of Hate and the power of Love!

Many times people are deceived and are unable to clearly see what is actually behind all of the ism’s of this world.

What is actually the cause of all the separations between people?

The root cause of the problems between people is hate.

When people hate there is division.

When people hate there is violence.

When people hate there is pain and destruction.

When people hate there is death.

The opposite of hate is Love.

When people love there is unity.

When people love there is peace.

When people love there is healing and construction.

When people love there is Life.

Hate is the root of the problems the world faces.

Love is the root of the solutions.

Mankind has been on a quest for solutions to the deep problems both personal and social that have plagued the inhabitants of the world for centuries.

Some of these challenges include but are not limited to the desire for:

World Peace
Conquering Disease
Eliminating Hunger

Establishing Equal Justice.

These are just a few of the world’s troubles man desires to eradicate.

To achieve these noble goals a variety of global organizations have been established. These organizations share the aim of evolving humanity into a higher personal and social global community. A Global Community freed once and for all from the devastating fatal effects of war, disease, hunger and injustice.

There is a blessed or happy life available to all who will take the time to learn and apply spiritual truths designed to make one wise.

This book, “Kingdom Dynamics the Power to Overcome”, describes how one may gain powerful spiritual knowledge to be enabled to utilize time tested methods of applied spiritual truths needed to overcome the obstacles of life. Barriers that are designed to defeat the masses. Walls causing people to faint in their minds and give up may be eliminated and overcome.

Spiritual Warfare

Yes! The victory over evil has alteady been won by our Lord Jesus Christ!

The Enemy of Christ seeks who he might devourer through deception.

This deception begins with bombarding our minds with thoughts like:

“You are not really saved?

Or

“Do you think God really made you righteous?

“Is the Bible really God’s Word?”

“You are delusional!

Do you really think you are called to preach about the Kingdom of God?”

“You don’t really believe God’s Word Do you?”

“Did God really say?”

“Is Jesus the divine Son of God or just a perfect man?”

Believers minds are continually being bombarded and attacked by foolish and unlearned questions by way of thoughts and or verbally.

These questions and accusations are the fiery darts of the wicked which are attacking and trying destroy our faith.

This is why we are to put on the whole armor of God.

Helmet if Salvation.

Breastplate of righteousness.

Loins girt about with Truth.

Sword of the spirit.

Shield of Faith.

Feet shod with the gospel of peace.

These are the areas where your personal enemy attacks in order to deceive you into questioning either your sonship rights or the sonship rights of another believer.

These attacks are designed to separate and divide the Body of Christ because the enemy knows when there are two or more gathered together in Christ’s name we are invincible!

So let us all put on the full armor of God so that we may be fully equipped to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand in the victory of Christ as an overcomer.

Picture yourself standing outfitted with the Armor of God in triumph over all the devices of Satan.

Let us pray for one another and encouraging and supporting one another the more so as we see the Day coming when Christ shall appear.

Praying for America and the World

Today as America celebrates her God-Given Blessings I pray for the delusion that blinds the eyes and minds of many to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

I pray the the Spiritual LSD being dispensed by the Media is nullified so the deceived may see and comprehend clearly what is at stake in the coming election.

I pray America will awake from its Spiritual Slumber to see Christ as He truly is.

I pray that those who are truly Christian allow the Christ in them to reign and lead them to turn our Nation from darkness to light.

I pray this to take place in the Hearts of the leadership of this country along with the citizens of America so that the light and liberty of truth and godly justice may spread over this entire world and that Christ be magnified!

Acts 26:18 KJV

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

The Kingdom of God is the “Big Story” of the Bible

The Kingdom of God is the “Big Story” of the Bible

There are countless accounts and stories recorded in the scriptures. These all have one common denominator by which they must be understood if we are to get a clear picture of The Kingdom of God and how import this is in our daily lives.

This common denominator or big story of the Bible is the Kingdom or the city of God named “New Jerusalem.”

The Big Story of the Kingdom of God is the key which unlocks the scriptures so that we may fully comprehend what the Father desires we should know today.

For instance in the Lord’s Prayer “ Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” is the Father’s promise and empowerment of the truth of His promised coming Kingdom to His children.

Therefore by learning as much as we can about this Kingdom we may learn to act as Kingdom Citizens in this world today.

If we keep in mind the Kingdom of God when we read the various Old Testament and New Testament accounts or stories we will see and understand how the entire Bible fits together to bring enlightenment to us concerning the Father’s ultimate plan of His coming Kingdom. The Kingdom of heaven will one day be established upon this earth which also includes the promise of the City of God.

One recurring theme I have noticed throughout the scripture is that of Life, Death, and Resurrection. In my journey of learning more about the Kingdom of God I am beginning learn more about this pattern of Life, Death, and Resurrection and its application to our everyday lives.

I am learning that having the understanding of how this reoccurring theme relates to my life has given me hope, comfort and patience in order to endure some of the persecutions and hardships of life on this planet.

This simple truth applies to all living things in the Plant, Animal, and Mineral Kingdom’s. There is Life, Death, and Resurrection in every area of what we know today as life.

Because of this awareness even the thought finality of death somehow loses its negative impact.

Why?

Because there is hope for every follower of Christ!

I Corinthians 15 states that the last enemy to be destroyed is death!

However in the age to come when God’s Kingdom will be established on this earth forever, death will no longer be a factor. Before the Kingdom is established on earth death snd the devil will have been destroyed

never to return again.

What I am beginning to realize is this cycle of Life, Death, and Resurrection is all a part of the life process especially when it pertains to seeing and understanding the Kingdom of God.

Could it be that what Christ is referring to in John 10:10 as the “more than abundant life” is speaking of what life will be like when the Kingdom of God is established on earth in the Age to come?

Truly this “Kingdom Life” Christ came to give us must be a more than abundant life He spoke of in John 10:10 which is the hope of a life without sin, death, disease, pain, tears.

This gives us hope!

However if this is true, then the opposite must also be true when Christ said. “The thief comes not but for to steal, kill, and destroy.”

Again by keeping in mind the overall Big Story we realize this applies to our knowledge of the Kingdom of God. So then when we ask, “Destroy what?” we find our answer is “Destroy Preaching of the Kingdom of God!”

The one mission we as Kingdom Citizens were given by Christ is to go into all the world and Preach (Herald Out) the Good News of the Kingdom of God to every creature.

The mission of the Adversary is to steal, kill and to destroy the Preaching of the knowledge of the Kingdom of God.

How is this destruction of the Kingdom of God accomplished? Once again by stealing, killing and destroying the knowledge of God’s Kingdom from the people who are made in the image of God.

So keep this in mind when you see Haters killing Lovers. When you see darkness trying to surpress light.

I pray that we who have been called and chosen to stand as Ambassadors for Christ will rise up wearing the whole armor of God and having done all to victoriously stand in the evil day!

As the Body of Christ may we unify under His banner of the Kingdom of God and in Christ to prevail over His enemies.
