The New Year of 2016 is Coming

Dear friends and members of this group.

I  wish you all a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year in 2016. Yes 2015 is fading fast and a New Year, filled with all the promises of God, is rapidly approaching. Many of us still enjoy the liberty and freedom to share the Good News of the Kingdom of God with others around us.
Others of you from various countries around the globe may not enjoy this freedom, but still you share the good news of the kingdom of God.

Because of your love and concern for the souls of others who are not yet a part of this kingdom, many are being invited by your words and lives to enter into the kingdom that our Lord Jesus of Nazareth commissioned that we should herald (preach) like a watchman to others who still live in spiritual darkness without God, and without hope in this world.

This is what Christ proclaimed that He was anointed to do in Isaiah 61:1-3.

Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Now because we have Christ in us we also share in this powerful anointing to share the Gospel of the Kingdom in what ever manner you are inspired to.

Therefore let us decide to make a concentrated effort to do as the Lord Himself has asked us to do – to spread the Good News.

I received a report from WordPress that we have reached followers in 24 countries around the world through this Blog. Some of which are in the Middle East living in Islamic countries such as Turkey, Pakistan, and Egypt.

Followers in Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France and Ireland have been touched along with Venezuela, New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia.

Still others follow us from Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A.|

I thank God for you all and pray that we may continue to do our part in inviting many more to this Blog through reaching our families, friends and neighbors.

Kingdom Citizens

Kingdom Citizens

Colossians 1:13 (RSV)
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

Most Christians understand the gospel of salvation as people being saved from their sins through the death of Christ on the cross. They have been taught they have been saved from the wrath of God and any future judgment of sins. However, there is more involved with salvation than this important aspect

Most Christians know what they have been saved from. However many are vague or are in doubt when it comes to what they have been saved.

In Colossians 1:13, Paul explained that believers have been rescued from a sinister domain of a dark realm which rules over this world. Today sin and evil ruthlessly reigns over humanity. This darkness and sin permeates the cultures of the globe via many sources.

Thankfully Christians have been elevated above this domain of the present evil age for they have been brought into a new kingdom, a kingdom where Jesus reigns as Lord and King.

Ephesians 2:4-7 (RSV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus
This transfer from the domain of darkness and sin of this present evil age is not something that will only happen to followers of Christ when they die. These saints have already been rescued (past tense) and been transferred (past tense) into the kingdom of God the moment they accepted Christ.

True this kingdom of God has not yet come into full fruition; it will not ripen until the age to come when Satan and sin will finally be destroyed in the lake of fire. Until then, if Christians will just seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then the kingdom blessings promised by Christ will be theirs today. The kingdom blessings I speak of are righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. This is what Paul proclaimed in Romans 14:17 and 18.

Romans 14:17 and 18 (KJV)
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Today we are living in what is known as this present evil age where Satan and evil have their way. The good news or gospel of the kingdom is that even though we are surrounded by darkness and evil, the saints have been delivered out of its mighty grip and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. In this it is like God has transcended time and the future becomes a present reality, where the future certainty of the righteous Kingdom of God are present and real now, and may be evidenced by kingdom saints who allow Christ to reign in their hearts and who seek first His kingdom in their lives.

This truth is easily grasped when we understand the gospel of the kingdom. It is good news. The true followers of Christ live in a different realm now! They have been given power and authority over darkness through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

We are Kingdom Citizens now!

Kingdom Meditaion of the Day

It is only through the kingdom that God can exercise His authority to accomplish His eternal purpose. In nearly every book of the New Testament, from Matthew to Revelation, the kingdom is covered. The kingdom is such a  great matter in the Bible. After His resurrection, the Lord Jesus spoke with the Apostles for forty days concerning the kingdom (Acts 1:3).
Acts 1:3 (RSV)
3 To them he presented himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days, and speaking of the kingdom of God.

The apostle Paul spent three months in the synagogue at Ephesus disputing and persuading concerning the kingdom of God (Acts 19:8).

Acts 19:8 (RSV)
8 And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, arguing and pleading about the kingdom of God;

Oh! Lord we pray “Thy kingdom come Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Lord let Christ the King rule in our hearts today as we walk through this day giving you all Glory, Honor and Praise for Thine alone is the glory, and the power. and the kingdom forever!

Christ is Still in Christmas

My brother in Christ Keith Witt sent me the following video showing that Christ is still alive and well in Christmas:

As followers of Christ our heavenly Father desires that we learn as much as we are able from Him through His revealed work as workmen that need not be ashamed.

There are things that we think we already know that need to be refined. When we think we have all the answers then we stop learning because we think we know all we need to know.

Take the subject of the Kingdom of God for instance. About five years ago I began to have this urge, a desire to know more about the Kingdom of God and began to look into the scriptures and began learning things I have never known about His Glorious Kingdom to come in the Age to come.

I am still learning and checking all kinds of sources because the one thing I have learned about accurately knowing about the Kingdom of God is that the knowledge of it will change your life for the better.

The knowledge of the Kingdom of God will lift you out of the stuff we are surrounded with in this present evil age and although the Kingdom of the Age to come has not been established yet on earth, we can still receive the blessing of that glorious future Kingdom that will one day (in the future) cover the entire earth.

I am learning that somehow the Kingdom of the Age to come has the ability to reach back in time to our present evil age and bestow its blessing upon any or all who desire to know more of God’s Kingdom.

Is There a Remedy for the World We Live in Today?

Is there is a remedy for the present global insecurity and unrest the world is experiencing today?

What may be done to eliminate religious intolerance, racism, slavery, human trafficking, sexism, world hunger, disease, crime and the myriad of injustices humans perpetrate upon one another?

Will all the good intentions of building a better world by eliminating wars, famines, pestilences and natural disasters ever be realized? Or is the human race doomed to repeat the mistakes of history over, and over again?

There is a remedy that has been offered to mankind, but thus far it has been mostly rejected or at best marginalized.

What is this remedy?

It is the promise of Jesus of Nazareth’s gospel, namely, “the Kingdom of God is at hand or is near.” Christ came into the world to make the promise of the Kingdom of God a reality by establishing the heavenly government sanctioned by the eternal Creator of our ever expanding universe.

The reality of this kingdom will not come into its total fruition upon earth until the Age to come. This is when God’s rule will be in all the earth. The hope and power of this future kingdom reaches back in time to bestow its blessing in this present evil age in which we now live to those who seek first this Kingdom of God and His righteousness, or God’s way of living today.

When I speak of the kingdom of God as the remedy, I am not referring to what is known today as a theology called “Dominion or Kingdom Now.” A definition of Dominion Theology is:

“The belief that we (mankind) have a mandate to build the “kingdom of God” on earth, restoring paradise, by progressively and supernaturally transforming ourselves and all societal institutions, through subduing and ruling the earth by whatever means possible, including using technology, science and psycho-social engineering; and then and only then will a “Christ” manifest his presence on earth.”

This will never happen for mankind has not been given the power and authority to build a kingdom for God to rule over.

This Remedy of the kingdom of God of which I am referring is the final and full global kingdom which Jesus the Messiah alone will establish upon the earth which is known as the “Millennium Kingdom.”

Why is this kingdom of God the only remedy for the ongoing problems of mankind?

Where may we learn more about this kingdom of God?

Who will reign over and throughout this global Kingdom of God?

What will this Kingdom look like?

Who will inhabit this kingdom?

Where will the capitol of this kingdom be located?

When will it be available to abide in the promises of this kingdom?

These questions and more may be answered from the scriptures so that we may apply this kingdom living to our everyday life style or what I call “Kingdom Dynamics” or “The Kingdom Power to Change Your Life.”

“Kingdom Dynamics” simply means the power of God’s Kingdom, or the rule of God over an individual’s life. This is when an individual makes it a point to allow Christ to reign over their entire life during this present evil age which will bring to the individual immediate blessings and a future assurance of their entrance into the final kingdom of God in the age to come. It is only then in the age to come that the entire earth will be under God’s rule.

Jesus of Nazareth claimed that if we seek first this kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the things the world lusts over will freely be given to us. Therefore, seeking this Kingdom of God is the only viable Remedy for this present dying world in which we live. The summation of the entire Gospel of the Kingdom of God is that this kingdom living life style is at hand or available to mankind to enjoy today while in the midst of this present evil age.

A biblical definition of the kingdom of God is simply God’s rule over the earth, or God’s way of living on earth.

This kingdom of God, in which Christ will reign as King, is a coming world government that will encompass the entire globe. When Jesus of Nazareth was asked by his followers to teach them how to pray he said:

“After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

The more of this Kingdom of God we can learn and know about, the clearer we will be able to envision this kingdom as the viable alternative to living today according to failing systems of this present world.

We who are God’s children do not have the God given authority or power to build this kingdom of God upon the earth, but we have been given the power of Holy Spirit to overcome this present evil age over our own lives. By doing so we may enjoy the blessings of the kingdom of God that will one future day rule over the entire earth in the age to come.

In the book of Romans the Apostle Paul described the kingdom as Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. These things are only realized by living our lives according to God’s Rule.

Some Kingdom Fruits of Salvation

Matthew 25:35-40 (RSV)

35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,

36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’

37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?

38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee?

39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’

40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’

This passage is one of many contained in the Gospels that lead a true follower of Christ to become involved in true service to the world around them towards other followers of Christ first, and then to others for God loves all people.

These followers of Christ do not do these things to become saved, but because they are saved, and have been made citizens of the Kingdom of God.

As a follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we should be sensitive to what our heart is speaking to us as the spirit of the Lord prompts and gives us the desire of our heart.

in the first chapter of Hebrews it sates that God spoke by way of the prophets in the past but now to-day He speaks to us in His dear Son.

Christ as our High Priest is the interface between man and God, and God speaks to us from heaven through His Dear Son.

It is only when our desires and actions line up with what the the spirit of Christ speaks to our hearts, that we are doing the Will of God in that specific time and place.

In what is commonly called the” Lord’s Prayer” we find a model of a Kingdom of God prayer in which Christ taught His disciples “how” to pray and not “what” to pray.

Jesus Christ directs us to face heaven and pray to our heavenly Father and to give Him all honor, glory and praise. He teaches us to pray for God’s Will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, and to forgive others who have trespassed against us.

Christ also teaches us to ask the Father for our daily bread. What does this mean? Is it that only our physical need for sustenance is met daily? No! It is much more than this. It is also that our daily nutritional needs be met by the words that proceed out of the mouth of God into our heart!

When tempted by the Devil Jesus was challenged to command that these stones be made into bread. I’m sure He was quite hungry after fasting for forty days and nights, but The Lord’s response to this was, “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!

A true follower of Christ hungers and thirsts for righteousness to be done, in their lives, and also in the world around them. They seek peace because they are peacemakers by doing God’s Will in any given situation as they are led by the spirit of God. Followers of Christ are willing to suffer persecution because of the Kingdom’s sake and for their sharing of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and these followers of Christ thrive in the joy of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:16-18 (RSV)
16 So do not let your good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;
17 he who thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.

It is my contention that only true followers of Christ who have been truly saved have any desire at all to live in this manner. True followers of Christ desire to live each day as outlets for God’s love releasing into the world, in their specific spheres of influence, God’s Will

Jesus said, “By their fruits ye shall know them.”

Some Thoughts on The Kingdom of God

The following are some thoughts on the Kingdom of God I received from my brother in Christ Keith Witt:

I am currently teaching thru the Sermon on the Mount with a trailer park youth group every Tuesday at the Loft Coffee House. Tuesday we will land on the disciple Prayer….. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done……. What I am seeing is that at the core of our beings is a heart that either beats for self or beats for Jesus. If it beats for self we will only accomplish vanity and sorrow.

For Kingdom minded saints they are to be awestruck, impassioned, driven, and focused on living for the audience of one, for His glory, honor, praise and Kingdom. This fuels us with ” Thy Will Be Done” rather than being absorbed with the clamor of this shallow & self-fulfilling world. The result is that we will be filled with Him, His desires, His love, His bucket list of what is eternal. The Key to the Kingdom is bow before this King with total love and allegiance to show Him gratitude and honor and affectionate love. In reality Romans 10: 9-10 we should consider if we should confess Him as “Lord” or should I say LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the Way, we confessed him as lord?????????????? Sorry Jesus has to have the preeminence… He is KING of KINGS and LORD OF LORDS…. He gets all Caps and Bold type face…. He is The Almighty Sovereign King. Now when we are ready to quit playing religion, we need to upgrade Him in our hearts. Then He gives us His Kingdom to explode our reasoning, our purpose, our reality with His amazing resources. Now, we are no longer our own… we are His…. He is ours…. The SELF- Centered blaaaaaaaa is over with.. We are agents of light, truth, and eternal glory. We are Kingdom focused, & Kingdom empowered. We connect every why, what, where, when, who, and how to a purpose that is clear and brilliantly awesome…. His Kingdom….

Now we have the Kingdom within us, for the King Himself resides on His throne, in our hearts, for His Glory. We should be overwhelmed with joy unspeakable to represent our SAVIOR KING… Wow and He is honored to have us as both His servants and dear children. The reason peoples lives are so pathetically shallow and superficial is that they don’t have a cause worth living for and His Kingdom is the only one rooted in reality that will work. All others will fail, and must fail. But for those who see and live with His Kingdom mindset they will flourish.

Just some thoughts on the subject..

Love you

The Kingdom of God Call to Prayer

This an urgent Kingdom of God call to Prayer to all Christians living everywhere around the world.

We must individually and collectively pray to our Father in Heaven giving Him all glory, honor and praise.

1 Peter 3:12

For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those that do evil.”

Especially in these days in which we are living we must individually be deliberate in putting on the whole armor of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18Revised Standard Version (RSV)

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace;

16 besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Let us as members of the One Body of Christ unite our efforts to pray invoking the power of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and our Heavenly Father to come against all foes foreign and domestic that would devise to do harm to any and all innocent people of this world.

Let us pray continually with our faces towards heaven “Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

We have been given so much authority and spiritual abilities to come against the powers of the darkness of this world remembering the battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual powers of evil.

James 5:16b
The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.
